At Farmhouse San Bartolomeo we offer you full immersion in the Italian lifestyle, focusing on wine, olive oil and food tasting in undiscovered and unspoilt Umbria.
Here our guests become part of an Italian family and enjoy nature and the pleasures of life lived slowly. Our aim is to share with you the traditions characteristic of this land in the heart of Italy.
Built on a hill, our beautiful farmhouse overlooks a wide valley. The property includes a 300 m2 old stone farmhouse and a two-hectare estate with a garden and a swimming pool surrounded by trees and greenery. The two-storey farmhouse itself has been carefully preserved and restored and has lost none of its ancient charm. Here, it is peaceful and silent; time stands still.

The living room on the ground floor is where the owners, Anna and Gabriele, will serve you breakfast with milk, coffee, a variety of herbal-teas, biscuits, cornflakes, jam, yogurt, fruit and cakes.
The 5 en suite bedrooms are on the upper floor and are tastefully furnished with antiques and original beamed ceilings. Although in a rural location, the casale of San Bartolomeo is only 3km from Marsciano, a pretty village with many shops and excellent local restaurants. The house is laid out on two floors: the ground floor hosts the breakfast room while the five bedrooms, each with private en-suite bathroom with shower, are on the first floor.

Rooms 1, 2, 3 and 4 are doubles; Room 5 is a triple. All rooms have original beamed ceilings and old terracotta floors.

Casale San Bartolomeo is a great place for a family holiday! Our farmhouse encourages ?togetherness? and is a place where families can feel comfortable. We welcome children and offer a number of facilities as, cots & bedding, highchair, kettle, bottle warmer and electric hotplate.

Outside the Casale and at guest's disposal: swimming pool, equipped garden, wood, barbeques. Some extra services are available: wine & food tastings, cooking lesson, guided visit, wine & food tours, Italian lesson.

How to reach us:

From Rome:

Take the A1 highway towards Florence (Firenze)
Take the exit for Orte and follow the E45 towards Terni-Perugia
Exit at Marsciano-Collepepe. As you near Marsciano, follow the signs towards ?centro? and ?Fratta Todina?
About 500m after the signs (?), you will come to a roundabout. At the roundabout, follow the signs for ?centro sportivo? and ?polo scolastico?.
You will come to another roundabout and, a short distance after that, a turn-off. Turn left, following the signs ?verde pubblico? and ?Azienda Le Fercete?.
You will see signs for Collelungo; follow them and after about one kilometre on the right you will see a sign for San Bartolomeo.

From Florence (Firenze):
Take the A1 highway towards Rome
Take the exit for Valdichiana Fogliano della Chiana and follow the E45 towards non ho ancora verificato
Exit at Marsciano-Collepepe. As you near Marsciano, follow the signs towards ?centro? and ?Fratta Todina?
